1.as shown by something or stated by someone
e.g.，According to today’s weather report, there will be a thunderstorm in the evening. 根据今天的天气报告，晚上有雷阵雨。
according to the police 按照警察所说的
? Don’t say ‘according to me’ or‘according to my opinion/point of view’.
2. in a way that depends on differences insituations
e.g., You will be paid according to the amount of work you do.
We will do it according to what the teachertold us.
3. in a way that agrees with a system or plan, or obeys a set of rules
e.g., The game will be played according to rules.
Everything went according to plan, and wearrived on time.
